That said, I have constant problems with 1Password using WIndows 11 (which I hate) and more importantly, Kubuntu Linux. I spend way to much time setting up the 1Password browser extensions only to have the settings I pick vanish if I quit the browser and or restart the system. IT GETS OLD. I realize some of this is security measures, but when basic functions such as the extension not recognizing a website for autofill, I know something is not right in the development department at Agilebits. I've always been leery of their move to put account info in the cloud. I much preferred that it reside locally, as I use a significantly hardened setup. There has been a lot of trouble lately with 1Password extension popdowns (when they DO appear) interfering with logins, offering to save passwords that are already saved, etc. I have decades of data in 1Password, which I've tried exporting into Proton Pass, which turned everything into a disorganized mess. I'm paid up with 1Password through next year. I'll be evaluating whether or not to keep them as my password and info manager. Also, they could sure make it easier to report bugs. I usually just go through the Apple Feedback app, since I'm in the public beta testers group. (assuming I'm having issues on the Apple platform, of course).
My biggest gripe right now is the having to do browser extension settings tweaking to get things back the way I had set them. I don't expect Agilebits is reading this forum, but you should know. Their app used to work smooth as glass, and it simply doesn't any more. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20261575, 8 days agoTheir recent hard pivot to everything AI makes me increasingly distrustful of the long term viability of this platform, and I am actively looking at alternatives.

Look for a different PW manager. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13245138, 12 days ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Jesse, 12 days agoWorks well! Only he sometimes opens popups if I don't want to, or he says I have to log in with google instead of with username and password. Also a pity that you can not create a new login in the popup (that has to be on the website). But for the rest, he works well!
