- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14528284, 6 years agoThis add on almost never works. No clue why but it opens a new empty tab with a JS console error when clicking on the icon. It also flashes open and then closes. Very unhelpful and needs work.

posted 6 years agoOh no! I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting 1Password X to work on your device. If you’re up for it, my team and I would love to troubleshoot this with you. Would you be willing to send us an email detailing the issue at support+x@1password.com so we can get to the bottom of this? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14523712, 6 years agoVery buggy. Often refuses to open when you click on the extension icon (just flashes and immediately closes). It's very expensive compared to other similar services and given the premium price I'd expect something that works properly. Unrealistically difficult to install on a mobile device so this extension isn't really great for cross-device usage.

Using extension on linux. Unable to select and delete mutiple contacts, unable to edit contact.
Sometimes my cpu usage gets 100% when submitting a form and I have to close browser or disable the extension to free my cpu - definitely a problem of 1Password X, when it is disabled, form submit proceeds ok.Developer response
posted 6 years agoThank you for the kind words and I’m sorry to hear you ran into some issues using 1Password X on your Linux device.
The CPU usage issue is something we tracked down a few months ago and released a fix for it in version 1.13.2 (https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/B5X#v20045). Has this been resolved for you?
Currently, the best way to delete multiple Identity items when using 1Password on Linux is to go to your account on https://my.1password.com/, select the “Identity” category in the sidebar on the left and work your way down the list. - Rated 5 out of 5by TheDude311, 6 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14204722, 7 years agoSo thrilled 1Password finally works on Linux Firefox!! Just look at the recent reviews for the LastPass extension and you'll see a community desperate for a password manager that works. 1Password auto-fills correctly, doesn't look terrible, has clipboard support that works, doesn't crash long pages... you know the things you expect. I used 1Password years ago when I was only Mac/iOS, and had to move off when I switched to Android (and then Linux). Now I can use 1Password again and I've missed it so! Thank you AgileBits!

- Rated 5 out of 5by account_creation_process_sucks, 7 years agoThis plugin finally allows me to run 1Password on Linux inside of Firefox, and lets me avoid the privacy sucking Google Chrome world. Thanks 1Password devs! you rock!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Leif, 7 years agoSecurity-wise 1Password is top-notch. However, the add-on lacks polish and feels clunky.

posted 6 years agoSecurity is our #1 priority, but we do care about looks too. I’m happy to let you know we’ve got some awesome changes coming to the popup soon — Keep a lookout for them. 😃 - Rated 5 out of 5by Hans, 7 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Baptiste D., 7 years agoHow to change the shortcut? Ctrl-period is conflicting with Multi-Account Containers.
Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi @Baptiste! You can change the keyboard shortcut by right-clicking on the 1Password X icon and selecting “Settings”. Click inside the field that says “Control+Period” and type your preferred shortcut. Just make sure it doesn’t compete with another shortcut in Firefox. 😃 - Rated 5 out of 5by tomjwatson, 7 years agoNow works perfectly again. The extension has also really improved over the last few months and is now better than the native clients.

Bitte wieder einführen, das ist ein riesen Comfort den keine*r missen will!
Developer response
posted 6 years agoThanks for the feedback! We’d love to bring Touch ID support to 1Password X. In fact, we’re testing the waters in our Chrome beta right now. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14351825, 7 years agoIt pales in comparison to the 1Password + Desktop app combo. I find it often doesn't sync right away; sometimes it doesn't sync for minutes at a time. The auto-fill is also very hit-or-miss. A specific recent example: when trying to login on xbox.com, the auto-fill popup appeared, I told it to auto-fill, and then? Nothing.
Sometimes there is a delay with the auto-fill (usually upwards for 3-5 seconds). This time it just never happened, so I had to use the Desktop App plugin to do it instead.
It's frustrating because I often need to switch between a Mac and Linux environment, and 1PasswordX is the only product supported on Linux (please make a desktop app).Developer response
posted 6 years agoI’m curious what other sites you’re having trouble filling on. Would you mind sending over an email to support+x@1password.com with the website URLs so we can get it reported to our developers? We’re passionate about making 1Password X the best filling experience possible, so we’d really appreciate it.
We’re actively working on speeding things up with 1Password X, but a 3-5 second delay is plenty more than I’ve ever experienced. I’m curious what setup you have and if there’s anything we can do to improve that speed for you. Please do let us know. We’d love to help! - Rated 2 out of 5by uptonhowitt, 7 years ago
