Now they rush on adding new features, leaving all their different programs totally inconsistent.
e.g. There's no way to add 2FA to a password using this extension, you need to install and open the MacOs (or window) program. I wonder how people using this on linux only do.Developer response
posted 6 years agoWe greatly appreciate the feedback! Because of your review, we added support to scan one-time password QR codes allowing you to make your 1Password item 2FA capable a few months ago. In my opinion, it's pretty awesome since we can automatically find the QR code on the page for you. There's no need to drag around a scanning window. To give it a try, view the item details for an item that doesn't already have a one-time password secret and click the QR scanner button.
I hope this helps to win back your love of 1Password, but if there's anything else you'd like to see, please let us know. ❤️ - Rated 5 out of 5by AmericanFiona2u, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12954109, 7 years agoI'm using 1Password X and Firefox in Ubuntu 18.04, and it works perfectly. It is nice to be able now to use 1Password in Linux as well as macOS and Windows.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14035257, 7 years agoI've been waiting for 1Password on Linux on non-Chrome browsers for a while—now that we finally have it, it's working really well!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14033996, 7 years agoIt works great so far. The fact that it also looks good is a nice bonus! I love 1Password.
- Rated 5 out of 5by brion, 7 years agoLooks good, works great, and finally fills the Linux-shaped hole in 1Password's lineup, as long as you use their sync service (which I also endorse!). Thanks!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 9777766, 7 years agoBest password manager out there and with the new 1Password X I no longer need to have the application installed on my desktop. This is one application I cannot live without on a computer anymore and I'm glad they keep improving and creating new ways to interact with 1Password. Highly recommend for everyone.

- Rated 5 out of 5by InTerFace, 7 years agoAwesome 1password integration. Beautiful and fast.
Only caveat: you need a 1password.com account. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 5988759, 7 years agoDang. I gave this 5 stars, but it quickly stopped working. It seems I got bit by a Ubuntu specific(?) bug where the autohide isn't working as it should:

Until this is fixed, it's too annoying to use to warrant a full 5 stars.

posted 7 years agoPlease see our forum post about the Ubuntu 18.04 bug and our suggested workarounds: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/90011/lock-screen-issue-1password-x-for-firefox-on-ubuntu-18-04. Sadly the bug is in the operating system and affects all browser extensions with password fields in them. We have reached out to Ubuntu and the ibus project and hope a fix is coming soon.
Update:
Ubuntu has fixed the underlying issue that was causing focus issues with the 1Password popup and many websites with password fields in Firefox. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13719352, 7 years agoFinally 1Password available everywhere, even on Linux machines (For subscribers only) It works flawlessly well. Is quick, and efficient. 5Stars.

- Rated 4 out of 5by victorbjelkholm, 7 years agoGreat addon and works for any website! Only reason why not five stars is because it's still not possible to export your data even between different 1Password accounts or to other apps without using the native apps, which are only available on macOS and Windows. Remove the vendor lock-in for Linux users and you would get 5 stars!

posted 7 years agoHey Victor, You’re absolutely right that 1Password X should have the same export feature as the other apps. Thank you for holding us to a high standard, and we hope to earn your fifth star soon. :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Jamie Phelps, 7 years ago
