This may be fine with a few hundred bookmarks, but with thousands of bookmarks it's annoying. You have to wait forever for the list to be processed. And Firefox's performance drops dramatically during this time. With a stop button, you could pause the search to sort through the results. But then the select button has to be at the top, because it always moves with the bookmarks found. Terrible!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16503620, 3 years ago404 Search should:
- note URL of bad bookmark in list generted
-search following order in the Bookmark tree in Firefox ...subfolder path should be shown
- bookmark title should be searched for within site as sometimes things are still there but located differently
-bookmark should be searched in Google (or other search engine) as it can sometimes still be found
-a csv list that can export bookmark name/URL/Path in Bookmark tree/Date added etc. would be helpful
The additional search features noted above could be run after the initial list is generated if this makes doing this easier - Rated 2 out of 5by irripod , 6 years agoEfficient in finding the dead links, but while doing so, it produces extreme traffic that sends my ISP into red alert and into bugging me with recaptcha checks. Meanwhile, Firefox comes to a halt and crashes from overload. The hit list is not saveable, so there is no other way about it than starting all over again, and going into an into an endless feedback loop. Sadly, I have to uninstall it, though I have no functional replacement for it.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Korwin, 6 years agoПользоваться приложением неудобно, потому что нет индикации его работы, и доли сделанного от всего объема запланированных для проверки закладок. Кроме того, отображается название закладки, но не отображается ни путь к ней, ни ее адрес.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Paul Heil, 8 years agoImplementation in a panel is not a great idea since it re-checks all bookmarks each time you open it and the results don't cache. The list keeps scrolling to the top as it returns results so you have to wait until it's all done... and forget about viewing another website while it works since you have to start over if you leave the panel.

posted 8 years agoI just updated the add-on the version 1.1, which moves from the panel to a normal webpage. You still don't get caching after you close the tab, but I don't think that would be really useful. - Rated 2 out of 5by swingwolf, 8 years agoCette extension aurait pû remplacer AM-Deadlink avantageusement.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12815003, 8 years agoI love what this add-on tries to do but the implementation is very poor. The list of bad bookmarks often disappears for no apparent reason. Plus, there's no way to copy the questionable link (using Cntl-C) so that you can check the site in another tab or browser. If these two things were fixed then the add-on would be way more useful and usable.
