by mknnnhnbsaunbx, 6 hours agoexcellent download manager - would donate if i had money. only issue i have after migrating from idm is the ability to continue download if a download failed by clicking the link that let you download the item in the first place. The developer should be very proud of themselves however. Well done on creating this amazing piece of software.

And it doesn't suffer from the "temp location" or "rebuilding parts" the outdated IDM suffers from. This is how you make and design software, the dev knows his stuff and knows what makes an app great.

posted 8 months agoHi! Just to clarify, this is a download manager, not a full-featured video downloader. Unlike browsers like Firefox, it offers features such as multi-connection downloads, queues, schedulers, and categories to make downloading faster and more organized.
In this app the video download feature is basic — it only supports regular media files like MP4, MP3, and non-encrypted HLS streams. Encrypted streams like YouTube are not supported.
I would really appreciate it if you could rate the app based on the features it provides and how well they work, rather than expectations for things it doesn’t offer. - Rated 5 out of 5by Jalkhov, a year agoI recently migrated from IDM to AB Download Manager and I don’t regret it, excellent application, and excellent integration addon, so far no news from me, live the open source software
