by designakt, 8 years agoBe careful. They consider a lot of ads acceptable by now. Things you probably would not agree with. For example, all ads that amazon shows in front of search results are considered "acceptable", so you have to scroll a full page before you see real results.
I did love them for the idea of acceptable ads, but they have been stretching this definition too far. Sad to not be able to have an acceptable compromise anymore.

There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. You can find more details regarding Acceptable Ads here https://acceptableads.com.

posted 13 hours agoYou shouldn't be seeing ads, regardless if you pay for Premium or not. If you are suddenly seeing ads, please try the steps in this article: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/articles/23213105628691-What-to-do-if-you-are-seeing-ads. If those steps don't help, please use the link in the article to reach out to us and we'll be happy to continue assisting you. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15346125, 3 days agoSince today, ABP completely blocks any connectivity in Firefox and I have to completely disable it if I want to use Firefox for anything. Firefox is fully updated and so is ABP. only disabling ABP fixes it.

Now I've removed it with the first ad asking me to become a premium user. There is a plenty of other AdBlock solutions. You failed it ABP ;)

posted 13 hours agoFor non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. Власне, це мені від нього треба і це мені в ньому подобається.

I will report this app, and recommend others do as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Máte plné ruce a nemůžete se bránit. A někdo jiný si toho všimne a příjde vám na pomoc! Mně na webu přišel pomoct AdBlock. Je to ochranný prostředek pro psychické zdraví. Díky za něj.
