- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13331269, 5 years agoWorks perfect. Just make a test search with the search engine you want to add and at the url replace your search term after the = with %s. Use a favicon generator in the web for an icon

- Rated 4 out of 5by Charles, 5 years agoThis is a lifesaver if you've come from Chrome, which is much better for search engine customization. It works very nicely, and unlike another add-on I tried, it will find the appropriate favicon for the search engine on its on.
Only real flaw is after you add a search engine, when you add the next it will by default continue using the last favicon. You have to always delete the current custom favicon url before entering the next search string if you want the write icon.
If you add a different url it should find the proper favicon. Short of that, there should be a "clear" button so I don't have to select and delete.
Also it won't let you add a nickname, but I'm assuming that's a limitation of Firefox. - Rated 5 out of 5by filtys00, 5 years ago

Developer response
posted 5 years agoI am not sure what this means. You can see the documentation at: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/OpenSearch. "application/x-suggestions+json" can be used for suggestions when entering you search query. In general we can only support what Firefox supports. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15397798, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by tipar, 5 years agoEasy to use if you know a little about search engines. It worked on criticker with https://www.criticker.com/?search=%s It does what I needed, add the search directly into the search bar as Wikipedia; Duck, etc.
