- Rated 2 out of 5by Raiden, 3 years agoNo longer able to add the default favicon (magnifying glass). I tried to add that but constantly get redirected to the icon of the website I want to add. No default favicon link provided in "Icon (optional)"
- Rated 2 out of 5by NormanFFox, 4 years agoFor whatever reason I can no longer just type in search phrases into duckuckgo.com in the main url bar with my custom settings. I simply want dark themed These options. (https://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html?name=duckduck+dark). along with unfiltered ad free results instead of blaring white in my duckuckgo search engine. I though it would be easy to tweak back to normal. This add-on seemed promising for that purpose, but now (Friday 4-23-2021) for whatever reason its flawed for me exactly the same way reviewer Noxanne said ith a 1 out of 5 star rating (11 days before me) is. All it did was send me to the customized duckduck page colored dark but without search results (as though I typed no search phrase at all! and just typed "duckduckgo.com" ). This add-on shouldn't even be necessary, but it sounds great if it works. Its obviously broken from some Upgrade of Firefox version 80something or maybe because I have he linux version? I don't know. Good luck developers.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Irlks, 4 years agoI was looking for something like this, but it would not allow using https://%s as the search url, so uninstalled. I think it was exactly what I was looking for, save that small validation done IMO wrong.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Nibinaear, 5 years agoI literally don't know how to use this anymore, I used the form but nothing happened. Then a page was shown to add the search using the 3 dots but then all my customizations were lost and the search did not work. Instead of getting a wikipedia search all I got was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Test every time. How do you use this thing now?
