New update is just vibe coded in your face slop. Had to revert back

This new update really ticked me off when I first installed it. I liked how simple it was before. While the new UI is nice, it definitely has succumbed to feature creep. JUst initially loading the new UI made my poor browser slow to a crawl. AND STOP ASKING ME TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT!!! NO ONE WANTS TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT FOR AN EXTENSION!!

However I do still think it helps A LOT with getting stuff done. It still accomplishes its goal of making the canvas UI much better and easier to use, in fact, I do think the update is more of an endgame version of this, in this aspect it is much better than the previous version.

But my god, slow down with the feature creep, and stop prompting me to sign in for two features I dont care about. I just want to see what I have to do!
Edit: JUst noticed the account feature lets you have like, a planner and lecture notes/recordings and stuff. It would be great if I could opt to not make an account and integrate these features with other standards and services (like caldav, webdav, nextcloud, google, etc)!

Also, the other reviewer has a point. Why does it need that permission?

The extension itself is great, but with the new update you are required to allow the extension access to ALL browser tabs and your data for ALL websites. Completely unnecessary for an extension that lets you customize Canvas. If you have an old version, just never update it. If not, find a different extension.

Good but it messes with other site's animations.
You can fix this by now allowing it to run on other sites but it has to be turned on manually in firefox's addon manager tab

The level of customization is pretty good, but it doesn't let me submit assignments.
