About this extension
Sharing your screen on Zoom, Meet, Teams or Loom? Recording a tutorial? Blur what viewers shouldn't see. No video editing.
Free, no account, no trial clock:
- Click to blur any element: text, image, input or video. Click again to unblur.
- Drag to blur an area. The area stays on top of video players and fixed headers.
- Blur selected text everywhere it appears on the site (or right-click it, then "Blur this text everywhere").
- Auto-blur email addresses on a site, including inside form fields.
- Adjustable blur strength and Pause/Resume to check what you're showing.
- Kept after reload and when the app re-renders or changes page.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+B (blur elements), Alt+Shift+A (blur area), Alt+Shift+P (pause). Change them in Firefox under Add-ons > Manage Extension Shortcuts.
Pro: $2.99/month, $19/year, or $29 once:
- Keep blurs on every site (Free keeps one).
- Auto-blur phone numbers, payment cards (checksum-checked), IBANs, API keys and tokens (OpenAI, GitHub, AWS, Stripe, Slack, Google, JWTs, private keys).
- Always-blur words and names, e.g. a client's name.
- Hide the tab title and icon on a site.
- Unlocks instantly after checkout. No licence key emails. One purchase covers Firefox, Chrome and Edge (restore with your email).
Privacy: everything runs on your device. Nothing you blur is ever uploaded. No analytics. Payment is handled by ExtensionPay/Stripe; we only see whether you've paid.
Limits: no extension can blur the address bar. Firefox blocks extensions on its own pages (about: pages and addons.mozilla.org).
