This policy explains what Privacy Blur does with data. Tanglement is the trading name of Marc Bittner, a sole proprietor, based in California, United States. Contact: support@tanglement.ai. In this policy “we” means Tanglement.
Summary
Privacy Blur runs entirely on your device. It needs access to the pages you visit so it can apply and re-apply your blurs, but nothing you blur is ever uploaded and no data is collected. Your blur rules and settings are saved in your browser's extension storage. There are no analytics. Payments are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe; only ExtensionPay sees your email at checkout, and we only see whether you have paid.

On uninstall the browser opens a one-question feedback page on tanglement.ai; feedback is sent only if you choose to send it by email.
The first-run practice page uses fake data, and practice blurs are never saved.
