About this extension
Boost for Personio adds helpers to the Personio time tracking that save time and prevent mistakes while booking.
Features:
– Quick pick of your favourite projects in the empty comment field; one click sets the project in Personio’s own picker.
– Jira tickets (Jira Cloud or Server/Data Center, JQL per project assignment) and your own comment templates as suggestions while typing.
– Hints on incomplete bookings: no comment, no project, start = end, no end on past days – also as a counter on collapsed days of the week view; a “!” marks days with an open end, and time fields left empty show “Start missing” or “End missing”.
– Save lock for rows Personio would discard and for times off the 15-minute grid.
– New rows start where the last booking ends, otherwise at the current quarter hour; a work row can be copied with its project and comment.
– Warning about violations of the German working hours act (Arbeitszeitgesetz) before saving.
– A note in the toolbar popup when Personio changes the time card in a way that limits a feature; the check only reads and reports features, no content.
– On/off switch, backup and restore of the settings.
Not affiliated with Personio: Boost for Personio is an independent add-on and not a product of Personio SE & Co. KG. “Personio” is a trademark of its owner.
Privacy:
– No telemetry, no ads, nothing goes to the developer or to third parties.
– Personio is queried with your existing browser session.
– The Jira token and, for Jira Cloud, the e-mail address go only to the Jira instance you enter yourself, and for Jira Cloud tokens with scopes to Atlassian’s gateway api.atlassian.com. That is why Firefox asks at install whether the extension may transmit “authentication information”.
– All settings stay in the browser, the token encrypted.
Permissions: access to personio.de and personio.com for the time tracking; access to your Jira host is requested only when you add a connection, and given back when you delete it.
