Works great, thank you so much for preserving the old version of the extension. I was having issues at first with it not autodetecting my canvas url and I was unsure how to manually put it in since bettercanvas always autodetected, but eventually I found out adding both canvas.school.edu and school.instructure.com separately worked.

Works quite well compared to the latest BetterCanvas update to BetterCampus (WorseCanvas).

For anyone worried about privacy, you can turn off the "Access data to all websites" permission even though it's required on install, just go to Add-ons Manager and turn off that permission for Canvas Refined. Then just load Canvas and add the access permission in for only Canvas. It'd be good if that permission was not required/off by default.

The new bettercampus update made me so sad since it was so overwhelming and slow. Thank you for preserving the old version I cant thank you enough. The new features are small but very appreciated!! This is what the bettercanvas team should have gone for

The official BetterCampus Firefox add-on hasn't been updated since 2024, so funnily enough this add-on has more features (on firefox) than better campus. I initially thought BetterCampus was FOSS because they include the source code of the former BetterCANVAS extension, but now they're proprietary, AI-filled, subscription-funded corpo-slop so thank you Guy for essentially making better-bettercampus.

pretty good, bettercanvas lowkey decided to kill itself with updating my things so now I'm here

This version is much better than the "updated" version of BetterCanvas. This guy is a hero.
