Claude Switcher AI lets you keep more than one claude.ai account signed in and switch between them instantly, without logging out and in again.
Features

One-click account switching. Save each login under a name, then switch from the toolbar popup. Open claude.ai tabs reload into the new account.
Switch with context. When one account hits its usage limit, press “+ Context” and your open conversation moves to the other account. The extension reads the full chat, including earlier messages, pasted and attached text, and the final version of any artifacts. It builds a Markdown transcript, opens a fresh chat in the new account, attaches the transcript, and fills in a short prompt. You review it and press send.
Fallback if attaching fails. The transcript is pasted into the message box as text instead, and a copy stays in the popup under “Download last handover”.
Expired session detection. Profiles whose session has expired are marked, so you know to log in again.
Backup and restore. Export your saved profiles to a JSON file and import them later or on another computer.

Privacy

Everything runs locally in your browser. Saved profiles and handover files are stored in the extension’s local storage.
The extension talks only to claude.ai, using your own logged-in session, to read the conversation you chose to transfer. It has no server, no analytics, and no tracking.
Saved profiles contain your login cookies, so treat them, and any exported backup file, like a password.

Permissions

cookies: save and restore your claude.ai login cookies.
storage and unlimitedStorage: keep saved profiles and the last handover file on your device. Long chats can be large.
tabs: find the active claude.ai tab and reload claude.ai tabs after switching.
Access to claude.ai: read the open conversation and attach the handover file in the new account.

How to use

Save your first account. Log in to claude.ai, click the extension icon, type a name (for example “Work”), and press Save Session.
Add another account. Click + Add another account (sign out locally), log in to your second account on claude.ai, and save it under a different name.
Switch accounts. Open the popup, hover over an account, and press Switch. The active account has an orange dot.
Switch and keep your chat. Open the conversation you want to move, hover over the target account, and press + Context. A new chat opens in that account with the handover file attached. Check the message, then press send.
Back up your profiles. Use Export Backup to save a JSON file and Import Backup to load it again.

Tips

Don’t use claude.ai’s own Log out button. It ends the session on Claude’s servers and makes the saved profile useless. Use + Add another account to sign out locally.
If you see “Can’t read this tab”, reload the claude.ai tab once and try again. This happens to tabs opened before the extension was installed or updated.
If a profile shows Expired, log in to that account again and save it with the same name.
The extension can’t copy images from a chat. The handover lists them by file name only.
