Privacy Policy for Claude Switcher AI

Summary: Claude Switcher AI works entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data with the developer or any third party.

What the extension stores (locally only)

Saved account profiles. When you press “Save Session”, the extension saves your claude.ai login cookies under the name you choose. These are stored in the extension’s local storage in your browser.
Last handover file. When you use “+ Context”, the extension builds a Markdown transcript of the open conversation and keeps a copy in local storage so you can download it later.
Backups you export. If you use “Export Backup”, the file is saved to your computer by your browser. It contains your saved login cookies, so treat it like a password.

What the extension does with network access

The extension communicates only with claude.ai, using your own logged-in session, to read the conversation you chose to transfer and to open a new chat in the account you switched to.
It has no server, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no remote code.
No data is sent to the developer or to any other third party.

Permissions and why they are needed

cookies: save and restore your claude.ai login cookies.
storage and unlimitedStorage: keep saved profiles and the last handover file on your device. Long chats can be large.
tabs: find the active claude.ai tab and reload claude.ai tabs after switching accounts.
Access to claude.ai: read the open conversation and attach the handover file in the new account.

Your control
All data stays in your browser. You can delete a saved profile inside the extension at any time, and uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data. Deleting the extension’s data does not affect your actual Claude accounts.

Children
The extension is not directed at children and collects no personal information.

Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
