- Rated 1 out of 5by crystal, 9 days agoI don't know what the "current tab filter" is supposed to do, but I just selected it and tried to clear my cookies for the current site only and you destroyed all of the cookies on my entire machine. Thanks a lot!

That really sucks. It was a bug in 4.4: “Current tab only” could wipe more than it should. I’ve already fixed it and sent the update to Mozilla, just waiting for approval. Once it’s out, it’ll behave correctly.
Please update when it’s available. If it still happens, tell me the version and I’ll dig in. - Rated 1 out of 5by Lucy Mills, 24 days agoThis extension mistakenly deletes your data for ALL websites even if you set "only current tab" in its settings!

Who in their right mind wants the addon to wipe ALL their cache!? It should've been set to 15mins of current tab only, the minimum, by default. Now I'll have to re-login into all of my sites because of those unexpected s**ty defaults. Terrible UX

posted 9 days agoI get why you’re upset. Just to clarify: the default doesn’t wipe cookies, it only clears cache. Losing logins would happen only if “Cookies” was enabled in options. The current default is cache only + current tab, but the time period is “all time.” You can switch it to 15 minutes in Options.
I also have long‑time users who prefer a full clean by default, which is why I kept “all time” as the default. Still, I’m open to adjusting it if most people want 15 minutes. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19538877, 2 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Patent Pending, 3 years agoWhat does this do exactly? I ran task manager next to my browser, clicked the broom and all I got was a dialog box with "YEAH!...." and something about clearing cache.. but the active working set did NOT move one bit! That does this extension do?

It really only cleared your cache, now in version 4.0 it can clear all data from your history such as cookies, forms, etc. - Rated 1 out of 5by Myk Streja, 4 years agoWhile I'm sure this is a very nice add-on, the developer quit supporting it five years ago, and disappeared from Firefox and GitHub four years ago. His website has also vanished. I can't get behind an abandoned project.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Clem, 4 years agoDoesn't work. I have my own HTML page of links, and after I used this, those links that have been accessed still show as having been accessed, and my browsing history still pops up from the address bar. So despite telling it to clear EVERYTHING, it clearly doesn't.
Don't bother. - Rated 1 out of 5by hookedontech, 4 years agoOne star. Could not get it to work with latest version of Firefox. Installed and reinstalled. Nope... did not work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17020574, 4 years agoClear Cache - lack of switching off history clearing. I need clear all cookies except for history of sites viewed from let's say last 1-2 weeks.

posted 2 years agothe version 4.0 deletes all history items such as cookies, forms, etc., but it really deletes everything. There's no time option yet, but it's something to think about. - Rated 1 out of 5by Abdikani adan jamac, 4 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ghais, 5 years agoAwful extension. Clears everything instead of allowing the cleaning of a specific site.

- Rated 1 out of 5by David Spector, 8 years agoOnly clears the standard caches reported by about:cache! The HOSTS file is still hidden by some hidden cache in Firefox. Refreshing a web page does not use HOSTS to fetch from the correct IP address. I clicked the icon, since I use F9 for another purpose. Firefox 56.0.2 (32-bit).
