- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12132439, 4 years agoVery, very useful extension. I use a lot of different proxies for work and it makes easy to segregate content from each proxy. The ability to use multiples proxies at the same time while having non proxified tabs is very powerful. The interface is a little rough around the edges, but as I don't go everyday in the settings it's a very minor inconvenience.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16342389, 4 years agoFantastic addon, I use it all the time for a variety of things. But after the most recent update I can't access proxied localhosts! One of my main use cases is using an SSH Socks proxy to tunnel to my VPN and access localhost on the server. Please fix!

I got problem with default proxy, it is not picked up by new containers, this is why i gave four stars, maybe it can be fixed? - Rated 3 out of 5by Marcus Vinicius, 5 years agoHere it worked just whit local proxies (TOR and Your Freedom, apps listening on 127.0.0.1). Don't worked with external ips (that are fine with FoxyProxy Addon). Restarting browser and enable/disable addon had no effect. I disabled FoxyProxy while testing this addon.
Any tips ?Developer response
posted 5 years agoCannot say anything here.
I use it with non-local proxies and didn't have any problems so far.
I would really appreciate if you can provide me more information so I can check myself and try to find the issue.
May by in private message on Gitter?
Otherwise, I don't think I can help. - Rated 5 out of 5by Rami Sabbagh, 5 years ago

Missing some options though:
- HTTP Proxy (I know it's obsolete and known by the developer)
- SOCKS5 Proxy
- Indicator of when/which proxy server is being used (omni-box, toolbar button color/figure/tooltip)
- When clicking the toolbar-button a new tab opens, please add an opener reference to reuse the previous tabDeveloper response

Didn't get what you mean about HTTP proxy. It works, but only the testing doesn't.
SOCKS5 is supported, it is called just SOCKS. Seems like it is worth renaming it in the interface.
Indicator is a good idea, I have it in plan.
Opener reference - didn't know about that, thanks for pointing it out. - Rated 5 out of 5by lamcheg, 5 years agoThanks a lot for this addon. Requesting add/remove containers, change their name/color.

posted 5 years agoContainers is a Firefox feature. As soon as it is enabled (you installed at least one extension that works with containers) you can mannage them in menu: FIle -> New container tab -> Manage containers (direct link: about:preferences#containers ) - Rated 5 out of 5by bresilla, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15461273, 5 years agoVery good addon. Is it possible to add SOCKS5 feature and use DNS form SOCKS Server?
Developer response
posted 5 years agoThank you. Proxying DNS is enabled by default for SOCKS proxies.
