Privacy policy

The short version
DimX does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. It has no sign-in, no ads, and no analytics. It makes no network requests of its own.

What DimX stores
Four on/off settings, one each for X, X Pro, Grok and Reddit. Each is a single true/false value. They are kept in your browser’s extension storage: DimX saves each setting to local extension storage on your device and also to the browser’s synced extension storage. If your browser account syncs extension data, your browser provider may sync these four settings across your devices. We never receive them.

What DimX can access
DimX runs only on x.com, twitter.com, tweetdeck.com, grok.com and reddit.com (including subdomains). On those pages, it checks whether the page is in a dark theme and adds a color stylesheet. To show an “OFF” badge on its toolbar icon, it checks whether the current tab is one of those sites; this check stays in your browser. It does not read your messages, inbox, votes, posts, or account details, and it does not send page content anywhere.

What DimX does not do
No sign-in or account.
No data collection, tracking, analytics or advertising.
DimX itself makes no network requests.
No selling or sharing of data, because there is none.
