Do Not Feed AI lets you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot at work without sending them your clients' data.

IMPORTANT: the add-on requires a separate program and a license

• It needs the Do Not Feed AI program installed on your computer (Windows or macOS). Download it at donotfeedai.com. The program detects and replaces the data - the add-on itself contains no detection rules.
• Masking works with a Pro license (per seat) or a Business license (per company). A trial license is sent on request: the form at donotfeedai.com or kontakt@donotfeedai.pl (details: https://donotfeedai.com/licencja).
• Without the program or without a license the add-on masks nothing and says so: the icon in the corner of the chat turns red with "!", and without the program it asks before every send whether to send the message unmasked.

Before a message leaves your computer, the program detects personal and confidential data - names, national ID numbers (PESEL), tax IDs (NIP, REGON), IBANs, payment card numbers, ID card numbers, phone numbers, e-mails, addresses, company names, as well as passwords, API keys, hostnames, IP addresses and logins - and replaces it with realistic fictional data. The model works on the placeholders, and the real values come back in its reply. You see a normal conversation; the AI provider receives replacements for the detected data.

How it works

• A small round icon in the bottom right corner of the chat page shows the protection status and how much data was detected in your message.
• Clicking the icon opens a menu: detected data grouped by type, the text the AI will receive, an event history, your own phrases to mask and the main switches.
• Detection and replacement happen only on your computer, in the Do Not Feed AI program. The add-on passes text and files to it over the browser's local connection to the program. There is no server, no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry.
• Files added to the chat (xlsx, docx, csv, txt, configuration files and logs) are masked before sending.
• Placeholders are consistent within a conversation: the same person gets the same placeholder, including inflected forms.
• The replacement map lives in the program, separately for each chat tab, and is deleted when the tab is closed.
• Optional preview before every send: untick any individual value.
• The add-on checks by itself whether it works on the chat page. When a page changes in a way that could make protection fail, it shows a clear warning and asks before sending.
