It is 3 years later now.
I've contributed 2 or 3 times so far and I've just donated again. Of course it gets a 5 star rating.
YouTube Downloader has GREATLY helped me in many more ways.
I've saved toddler videos for trips, educational videos to help me with grandkids homework, music tracks for marriages, and Bible study for myself and wife, etc. It has been worth more than I've donated.
Please, consider supporting the developer. Some of us know it's time we did.. again. By the way, my last review was around #7621. This one is about #13,220.. almost double. It's only gotten better!

I began using Easy Youtube Video Downloader early on. I liked it much and used it much. It became a very useful tool for study and play. I could fill folders with Spanish videos or Feynman lectures for learning. Also, nursery rhymes and Paw Patrol for the grandchildren.
I decided to "donate" to the author because I use it for so much. It is the fair and right thing to do.
Now, some time later, it has stopped working and I get a message like this:

"Since, v 16.4 activation key feature is introduced and it will be the only way to use PRO features going forward, the old method is no longer supported due to cookie privacy concerns and misuse.."

It also said that i had to "donate" again because of the new "activation key feature is introduced and it will be the only way to use PRO features ..."
The developer wrote the long time user and cheapskate donor (me), out.
I should be upset at this because it does not seem fair. I guess I am a bit upset, but I "donated" again anyway. I believe the value and usefulness this add-on to be worth much more than both of my paltry "donations".
Please support the developer! I want to thank you for this add-on. I'm not alone either. It seems I am review number 7,621 (or close).
