It only allows me to download 3 videos per day, which seems insufficient to me.

What user who're having problems, there is a procedure you'll have to follow:
1) www.yourvideofile.org/support.html
2) Click on "Get Temporary Fix"
3) Follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

Extension is pretty good, but doesn't work for many YouTube videos.

Dishita, Version 21.3 worked flawlessly until of course, YT changed their code. With Version 24.1, the green download button doesn't appear anymore, has YT changed their code again?

It's a robust extension that should be usable forever after a single worked, but sometimes (perhaps for videos longer than 5 minutes), downloaded content can lose a segment of its beginning.

Its a well working program.

for everyone complaining about the tool not working right now, you need to check Dishita's page at yourvideofile dot org slash v24 underscore temp (Not sure if putting a link in here will get me in trouble with Firefox) but that page on his website contains the current temporary fix for the issue which has been caused by Youtube and Google's constant needless changes to the platform.

YouTube is a mess... People telling it's fault of this extension doesn't know the real truth. Try downloading anything from YouTube with different tools and you may find most of them doesn't work, too. Instead of publishing harassment arguments against their developers, think twice before saying anything.

Haven't you read the latest warning from Easy YouTube Video Downloader website from their support section? Read it again:
