So I am updating the review below from 5 years ago. At some point this extension stopped working--the developer said that YouTube go ahead of him--and then the fix that was supposed to solve it put 2 buttons under the videos, but neither one worked. They would seem to be downloading, but when I went to play them with VLC there was nothing there. Now Dec 2025 I am using the extension again. There is a single button, and yes, the videos play once they are downloaded. AGain let me say that as long as this extension works, it is by far the easiest one to use because there is no cutting and pasting needed, so for that reason I gave it 5 stars despite the hicups. I LOVE this extension! So easy, just one click and it begins downloading! I have also used 4K YouTube Downloader and WinX but for both I have to copy and paste the link. Easy YouTube Video Downloader is just easier and more convenient. Good job, and thanks for the recent update!
