how am i supposed to know if it's worth making a donation if i can't even have a few trial runs? useless. it's like me paying for a car that I can't even test drive

Here's what I got when I tried saving a video to MP3:

Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users."

Not working unless upgrade to pro and no trial available.

No trial period for the pro version. Minimum donation for pro is $10. Not going to pay $10 without knowing it works first, since so many other extensions like this one just plain don't work.

I've payed a PRO user the last year and didn't works right now and they told me that i should pay again! because they have a new license activation system. I'm very angry

A reminder, this add-on isn't free, a lot of its feature, for example: hq video and mp3 is disabled if you're not donating. So consider that before installing.

Sent them $30.00 and repeatedly followed the activation instructions from within the broweser and never has it worked nor was my email answered. Will not activate in Firefox for Android! A waste of time. I can do everything this does not do with other downloaders that I haven't paid for.

It's Spam. turns new tab into their search bar and stops you downloading in MP3. Avoid, it's spam.

Well, it claims free download, but it works only for 360p or less... other formats you have to pay.
UNFAIR

I bought the PRO version of this years ago, and then I voluntarily paid for it again later, just because it worked so well and the customer service was always quick (within 24 hours). Now, however, despite paying twice for this I no longer have access to it. He wants me to pay yet again for it, which means he totally lied before because it was advertised as "pay once for lifetime access". I get that things change, and new costs may now be occurring, but you can't just unilaterally change the contract terms. Especially since the reason I paid a second time was because I felt sorry for the hard work he put in, leading to him asking for more money every time he did an update. What a shame.
