Most downloaded MP4s error when trying to play. More importantly for me, doesn't give the option to download an MP3 as shown in screenshots.

First video I tried to download on YT: instant error. Can't parse link. This extension is garbage.

It would have been four stars, except I keep being nagged to leave a fucking review after every download. Right now, it's 2. If it ends up as a one-star, it's because the message doesn't go away.

Quite simply, it lies about what it's doing. Try playing one of its video files without an internet connection and it makes the issue obvious. The only thing this is doing is creating a file that will enable you to stream the video from where it is hosted. If the host moves or deletes the file? Useless. If the host modifies the file? You lose access to the older copy you thought you had.

This level of misrepresentation should be taken as active deception.

To be honest, I got a 3rd party program to do this type of thing now, works better. Just look into it for yourself if you've gone this far.

At first, it worked fine. But then a problem appeared where YouTube would freeze completely and only by closing the tab it would be fixed. It took me a while to connect the dots and at first I tried disabling the add-on and try watching a YouTube video again and voila! YouTube no longer freezes, period. I am gonna look for something else. Hope this review helps someone who has the same problem.

It does not work to download mp3 even with PRO version. The external application does not work neither.

It worked perfectly the first time I tried it, then it affected everything I did in Firefox and the whole browser experience changed. Even when I uninstalled it, this extension was still somehow sending notifications. I'd recommend avoiding it.

I'm leaving my original review below, but now I'm terribly disappointed. After my donation, I was able to use this plugin for a short time. I was even provided with a standalone app. The standalone worked great for awhile until it now says it has expired. Now I'm back to being limited to 480P and under. NO LONGER HAPPY...

I'm impressed! It works differently than it used to, but the YouTube obstacles have been clearly hurdled and this new version works like a charm with video up to 1080p. Couldn't be happier.

Most downloads are behind a paid-for Pro version paywall on a third party site, neither "superfast" nor "easy." As of 10/08/2025 there is not a "Single-click 256kbps HQ MP3 download" available.

After the extension not working for over a year it finally showed back up, and now, after 3 days, all of the videos are coming out AI dubbed into another language. Why? Cannot find any kind of settings anywhere (and I know they did exist at one point in the past)
