Used to be good when it worked, free 720p downloads and mp3, now they want money for everything.

Doesn't actually do anything. Can't download videos, can't download audio. Video DownloadHelper is better in every possible way and actually works.

Does not allow 1080 downloads without Pro version.

Couldnt even DL a audio file from youtube.. useless

Basically, it only allows you to download a low quality vid unless you get the Pro version. I just want to download audio, so I'll be uninstalling this POS addon. The only thing it added was frustration.

Says it works to download mp3's, then when I try it informs me I have to buy the Pro version.

It says in the release notes for version 16.0 - "- Fixes download button visibility and downloads after Youtube code changes." ---- BUT NOTHING IS FIXED! IT DOESN'T WORK! NO BUTTON IS SHOWING UP! AND I PAID FOR THE PRO VERSION!

So many fake reviews. All seem to be automated by the developer itself.

....after installing & unistalling different versions of youtube downloaders (firefox add-ons), although having a problem (which was solved with A CLEAN COMPUTER RESTART, first thumb rule of the ....old DOS days!!!) of suddenly not working! the extension, I STICK now permantly with "Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express". Keep this good add-on WORKING, even as I understand, youtube has the habbit of often changing the rules!

I use pro upgrade, and yearly additional support. This extension had been working well until a few months ago. Now button doesn't show, even after following guidance on the support page. No fixes provided yet nor any update on status since Oct 2024.

Very bad. This is a paid extension. Free can only be downloaded in very poor quality. Instead, use the program https://ytdl-org.github.io/youtube-dl/
