- Rated 1 out of 5by Anjoland, 7 years agoGarbage, just a gimmick. When you need to DL HD videos you have to purchase the pro version because it says it need powerful server infrastructure to DL HD formats. Lol what powerful server infrastructure? For HD you download the video and audio stream separately then merge them and that is done on THE END USERS SIDE.
Gimick.
"Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users."Developer response
posted 7 years agoNo processing is done on THE END USERS SIDE, you get direct downloads from my server and yes it needs monthly infrastructure and server bills. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13799689, 7 years agoGuess YT finally won in the download war. Thanks anyhow for your heroic efforts.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13473270, 7 years agoSimply a malware. I adds a mark on the video and drains your computer's memory. It promises that it downloads videos, but it forces you to download a third-party software! It's a malware!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13780133, 7 years agoIt works really well, if you "donate a coffee". But after a few years the addon told me to donate again. After checking with the developer he told me that I donated via browser and the wrong way and that I therefore had to donate again. This is not okay. I payed, but now I have to pay again because he does not keep his records straight? No. Not again. Never ever. He did not answer to my concerns, by the way.
