Look no further, it does what it says, very well and there are no negatives. - Rated 5 out of 5by Moone, a year agoTerrific Add on for FF and probably the best YT downloader, I have used many. There is just one programmer maintaining and updating this addon so give the guy a break. Google/YT have infinite resources to constantly change code in the background trying to break downloaders Add ons.

I cant recommend highly enough PLUS this guy manages to stay ahead of all attempts to thwart downloading for which he has my utmost admiration :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17512207, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by noidonotunderstand, a year agoMy go-to YT downloader service. Among other things, I use this to convert lectures and speeches to an mp3 format so they can be sent to my smartwatch for listening without my phone since YouTube doesn't offer a WatchOS app even if you have YT Premium. An overall reliable and extremely helpful add-on that is actively updated to keep up with YouTube's layout changes and whose developer really deserves your donation. The two major drawbacks that come to mind are the cases where content can't be downloaded because it's unavailable in the add-on's server country forcing you to use another third party downloader service and the fact that there are no options to set shortcuts for specific types of downloads. For example, since I mostly download audio, I'd like a button or a shortcut which would let me convert a video into 256 kbs mp3 more swiftly instead of having to open the drop-down menu and manually select the conversion type every time.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14475171, a year agoThis is my go-to for downloading YouTube content in a variety of forms (HQ video to audio-only). it's auto-updating, easy to use (one click) and always works because the developer actively keeps up with YouTube's constantly changing coding. You may notice many of the 1-star reviews gripe about this but the add-on evolves constantly.
