- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13772272, 8 years agoWe can't download 720p files, even if they were only upload fifteen hours ago. We get the message:
Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users. Read more at - https://videodroid.org/pro_upgrade.html. FREE users can download all formats in CACHE where some PRO users fetched the video/audio in past 24 hours, to test the feature you can try downloading popular videos. - Rated 1 out of 5by John Corliss, 8 years agoAll the good formats are limited to the "Pro" version, which costs money. No thanks, off it comes.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Thany, 8 years agoIt sort of works. But like most other video downloads, it appears to provide 1080p downloads, while it just doesn't bloody work. Some downloaders redirect to some BS message saying it's not possible (which is BS, because it *is* technically achievable), but this one does something else. This downloader, when selecting 1080p, pings videodroid.org and then absolutely bloody nothing else happens.
If you can't make downloading 1080p happen, DO NOT PROVIDE IT AS AN OPTION. - Rated 1 out of 5by Chief, 8 years agoDon't waste your time, it works for a few days then stops. I even paid for the better downloading and still same issues. RIP OFF if you pay

- Rated 1 out of 5by Scott in Sac, CA, 8 years agoJust doesn't seem to work with FireFox 58.0.2 64 bit under Linux Mint 18 w/ Cinnamon desktop. Scanned for support but found no immediately useful help - only submit a form and wait for a reply. I am out.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13908834, 8 years agoThe upgraded version works but the licensing process is garbage. You get a PayPal receipt that does not include any licensing info and that's followed by a sketchy one that will likely go to your spam folder. If you use outlook.com it will refuse to stay in your Inbox and eventually you'll empty your spam folder, forgetting about the email. You're going to need the email because the extension will downgrade itself to the free version and the only support the developer will offer is to give him another donation and try to save the email this time. Shame on me for trying to circumvent YouTube's usage restrictions, shame on the developer for a poor licensing process (I'll assume that the downgrade is accidental and not an attempt to milk donations).
