The video coding is decent, no artifacts, good (working!) sound, filesizes are moderate. As a part of programmers battle does sometimes not work (Youtube wants you to buy premium to have downloads and no ads - something you can have for free with this and adblock) due to codebase change on Google / YT side, but up to this day author stays active and fixes all the issues (most of the time) under a week.

It works, although the whole ADP file type conversion delay is very annoying. No idea what that's all about, nobody wants an odd file type they've never heard of, but no choice given to simply have one they know? If only a file would simply download as an *.mp4 all the time ;)

If this add-on stops working for you it's because YouTube has changed the code on its website to stop this add-on from working but the developer pushes regular updates to make download work again.

The extension does what it's supposed to and it's worth donating for the extra functionality. YouTube is constantly altering it's format to prevent downloading but the developer always comes through to keep the extension working.

This app is great! I've downloaded hundreds of games that were broadcast on TV, uploaded to YT or Dailymotion, and then taken down. But I got them on file! These are really hard to find using any other method like torrents. Here today, gone tmrw.
