Since last few months, I am unable to download HD video, therefor 4 stars

The easy youtube video downloader works fast and efficient, withstanding all the attempts of google (youtube) to thwart anything they do. I am happy to wait a little while for another correction of a google-anti-downloaders-action. Well done, and keep it up!
EDIT: (nov 2025) Since the previous rating, the recordings all have green lines across the screen and the video seems less bright, maybe somewhat "dimmed". Although I appreciate the attempts, I sure hope this was noticed and will be solved.

a wonderful extension, works perfectly, when there is a little issue, the developper hurries to solve that.

Has been using this addon for quite some time. It is very good. I hope the author will keep update it.

I have used this for quite a few years now and it is hands down the best.
Any issues, although rare, are quickly fixed

This extension is really outstanding. It is very much uncommon that a developer publicly responds by himself/herself on his/her 'Hobby Projects' about any issue and fix it and maintain it with so much responsibility. I am using this add-on for a very long time and it never let me down. As in India getting a Credit Card is so much troublesome that I could not donate to this wonderful project and I don't want to use PayPal. But, I hope, in couple of months I will be able to donate some money after getting my Credit Card. To the Developer, keep up the good work.
