Easy to use and very worthwhile. Let's face it! The ability to download videos you like should not be in dispute. IF the Downloader disappears due to Google being arseholes, just wait a while. Dishita will recode it and it might take a week or so but it will be back. The amount of value I place on having guaranteed continued access to various videos is way beyond the small donation he asks for but never demands.

For a long time now I have been using the YouTube Downloader browser extension, which allows you to download video or audio from the YouTube service. It is convenient because it does not require installation in the system. Also, if you decide to use a computer other than your own, just open your favorite browser (FireFox) and log into your account, after a three-second synchronization you can save the necessary video to computer's hard drive. Easy and fast, super! Thanks to the author!

Works great most of the time. Easy to use. I like to listen to my music offline and this makes it much easier to acquire music i cant find anywhere else at any price.

I wish Youtube would just give up and accept that people want to keep things they like and make it easier to save, rather than make it so damn hard to download music i like without all the damn ads. Hey Youtube, i use an ad blocker too.

Super useful and kept well up-to-date

This downloads quickly and reliably and is very easy to use. Recently, YouTube changed things up and thwarted this app, but the developer responded quickly with an update (automatically installed, if you OK that). He or she (yes, one person apparently) says YouTube does this from time to time so don't freak out (as the one-star reviewers did) if the Download button below the video disappears for a few days--it will be back. Please consider making a contribution to the developer or purchase the paid version. The free version works fine; the paid version has a few more options on it and, of course, helps support the developer's work. In the time-honored shareware tradition.
