Works as described, even when Youtube change the code to break addons the author is very fast to update. If you have an issue then give it a few days to see if it is fixed.

Great little facility - most useful for saving the odd appealing video which you may want to come back to, or store elsewhere (videos DO occasionally get taken down, and I wish I'd had this add-on before some of those I used to re-visit disappeared for good). Sometimes a little slow to get started, but you only need to be patient, or possibly re-start the download, for those few you'll want to keep. Just bought him a coffee above the suggested amount, and now doing this review to show my appreciation.

This is a GREAT download add on for YouTube. I have used it for years and find it to be very useful for downloading mp3 and mp4 formats with different options for file size and download quality. YouTube does not like it's videos downloaded and therefore many developers have a hard time maintaining their applications when YouTube changes their coding to discourage downloading. This developer is constantly maintaining the software to counter YouTube's efforts to thwart downloads. Highly recommended. Easy to use, high quality downloads, and great support. Get it!
