Love this add-on. I’ve been using it for well over a year. Initially as a free user but I quickly upgraded to pro. This plug-in does what it is supposed to and it does it well. The Dev has been quick to make changes required to keep the plug-in current when audio/video stream formats change, etc. and was lightning fast with a response when I had a question. Well worth donating to help keep it alive and going.

Easily the best way to download Youtube videos for offline viewing (I use it primarily for kids videos to watch in the car...can't afford tons of mobile data traffic...don't get me started on "unlimited" data)

To get the most out of the software, you really need to donate to get all the features - however I have to say it is very much worth it - at least in my use case. The developer is really quick in responding to queries/how-to/bug reports/etc (so far at the latest within 24 hours)

Overall I am very happy with this add-on, the developer puts work into keeping it updated (yet the familiar minimalist interface stays mostly the same - wished more software packages did this....looking at you MS Office) and working around youtube's ever changing protocols - Sever time isn't free (how part of this add-on works) - I'll be donating again this year.

Author is very reactive. I got a problem and submit a request to the support
Within 24h I've got an answer. In the end it appears the problem was on my configuration and not on the add-on.

I've used the Pro version for 1080p Full-HD and 256Kbps MP3 downloads for over two years with excellent results.
On one occasion when I couldn't get logged in I received first class next day tech support via email to solve my problem.

The best and easiest video down-loader for YouTube I have used. Outstanding!

It took a while to figure it out, but this is the only video downloader you will need for YouTube. When YouTube put the clamps on downloading recently, it seemed like all the downloading add-ons died. I installed Easy YouTube Video Downloader Express (hereafter EYVDE). At first I thought it was like the rest. It didn't work - there was no button to press. After some discourse with the developer, he used remote access software and did some manipulation to make it work. Seems you have to be careful what order you install add-ons and disabling them and enabling one by one will tell you which one is causing the problem. Anyway, it works now and very, very well. Also, it is worth going Pro if you are into HD video. Disclaimer: If you see another comment or review by me from an earlier date, please ignore it. I am trying to find a way to expunge it, but haven't been able to do so yet.
