This is perfect for downloading YouTube videos. I donated 10 bucks to get the pro features & it seems to have been worth it. Sometimes when YouTube changes something, the button might not appear – you gotta click on the extension icon & select a link in that case. Also sometimes I get a 'already processing. please wait or come back later' or similar message when selecting MP3 conversion. As a workaround, I just download the video in MP4, open that up in Audacity, then export to MP3. Can't say if that's a bug or something else. The developer seems to stay on the ball with fixing stuff, so I trust that issues will get fixed sooner or later. Overall, this is the best YouTube video downloader I've seen yet... :D

I have been using this for a few years and it's the only YouTube video downloader that I've come across that is simple to use, doesn't have the need to install any other rubbish or bloatware, is Ad-Free, delivers everything it promises and works a treat! It's extremely small & efficient and places a very handy "Download As" button underneath the video. Can be used for Free but Well worth the donation/purchase for the premium features. A lot of other addons claim to offer you similar features but never really do and are usually buggy or stop working altogether after a while.

TIP: After donating, Bookmark the Videodroid Thanks page or save the link, because if you delete all your cookies you will need to revisit the page to re-enable the addon's pro features. If you ever have any problems, or FireFox has just updated and something's not working, make sure you check all privacy & cookie-related settings and also make sure that other addons aren't interfering. If all is as it should be but it's still not working, the developer is only an email away and always happy to help :)

LOve the easy to use format . As to all the cry babies that complain its not 100% free . Get a life a $10 donation as I can afford its cheap for what I get in return . Saves me a ton of time trying to get vids any other way . My time saved is def worth s few bucks .
For the ones saying it quits working see your email if your cookies get cleared boom no worky not developers fault my system cleans cookies every week or so I just use the link in the email an viola its up and running again . If you do not want to pay be satisfied it will download in standard def free or if your lucky someone with donated account will have downloaded in high def recently . Love the app keep up the great work . Update when it was broken by youtube quickly repaired and the 1st usable again.
