Please ignore the one star reviews. I've used this add-on for several years and it is a fantastic tool. For a nominal fee, it was well worth upgrading to the Pro version, which lets you generate mp3 and download HD quality mp4 files. Beware that there are periodic updates, after which it may be necessary to follow Dishita's instructions to re-enable the PRO features. I have had to do that a few times over the years, and had no problems continuing to use the add-on. The developer has been responsive when I sent questions about re-enabling the pro registration, but the information available on the web site is self-explanatory.

Easy the best Youtube downloader out there and always great support from the creator!

After upgrading to the PRO version, the download speed became very slow. But an email to the developer sorted that out and now the extension works really well. Really satisfied with the product and service provided. 5 stars :)

Just bought pro and I'm already happy with the quality and speed of the service. Now I don't have to open obs every time I need to grab a sound effect or clip from youtube. I can also finally download my old youtube videos which I lost on my main PC. Highly Recommend

I give this 5-stars for it's simplicity and ease of use.

I upgraded to the PRO version immediately. I'll probably start suggesting this when people ask me how to download music and/or videos. I'll probably tell them it's worth upgrading to the PRO version too. Especially to the less tech savvy people I know.

Maybe they'll finally stop asking me how to do these things all the time... Probably not, but worth a shot.

I'm not going to suggest pirating via torrents because that's beyond them.

Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express has proven its worth, and the interface is simplicity itself. I may not use it often, but on the occasions I do it allows easy download of HD videos, and of high bitrate mp3 files. As I am mainly interested in musical performances, this is a godsend. One caveat -- don't always opt for the 1080p option, as it seems that is sometimes generated from a 720p original file, and you don't gain any benefit from the increased file size.
