I cannot recommend this extension more. I've been using it over its several iterations ever since at least 2012, and I can say definitely it's the best video downloader I've ever used. I've tried them all: the free ones, the website ones, pay to use ones, but nothing compares to this extension. A lot of other services that I've used in the past have gone defunct or no longer work for all videos. This is the only program I've ever found that has worked perfectly since I first started using it. Thank you for making this.

The last time I posted a review was 6 years ago. Since them, this extension has undergone a few difficulties. However, I am thrilled that it is now (September 2025) working again! I like its ease of use, variety of choices and no-nonsense method. I have tried many video downloaders, including paid ones, but none come close to this one. Note that video channels may change algorithms that break the extension, but the developer is committed and faithful in his attempts to fix it and keep it working. Well done and please, please continue to give users the opportunity to download videos to watch as and when they choose.

This is a fantastic add on .... well worth the money for HD downloads :)

how to close the dialogue box after downloading the video? it also doesn't show the size of 1080p quality to download except low quality videos.

Definitely worth paying the donation. Takes a little time to get the 1080p download but way worth it over the low quality 720p version. Like it's barely 720p.

Although I do not use this extension much, it is definitely worth the donation for the pro version and it works for every video I have tried. I would recommended it.
