This is my most used firefox add-on, I have relied heavily on it for many years. The author promptly updates it when YouTube alters their page coding. For me it works perfectly on windows and linux PC's. I consider it well worth sending a donation for each update. Re-posted 7th May 2023

This is a great addon! If you want to download a video, you get several selections from the drop-down menu as seen in the screenshots section of this page. I use it frequently and it has never let me down!!!

The provider of this add-on works fairly tirelessly to stay current. In an online world where things appear and disappear all the time, this product allows you to conveniently save and archive video material that you'd like to hang onto. I'm very grateful that it exists!

Great way to download videos from a large number of sites, including the most popular ones, it let me download a video that no other extension was capable to get, only recomendation would be that interface could be a bit more intuitive for non advanced/experienced users.
