It does exactly what it says it does, which is exactly what I want it to do: Download the videos I want to save, in their original quality. No need even to read the instructions it is so simple and obvious to use!

You had a good feature and it helped me download videos that I wanted to watch later but didn't have the time when they were there, especially the way uTube has them taken down faster than I can watch them. Now that ability is gone and some of the others don't seem to work as well as yours did.

Ive paid multiple times, to support dishita ... but this recent change from app extention to dedicated software yet to come, has done me... especially since im seeing reviews from free users, saying it still works for them ...
im confused ... the guy is great, and he works hard, battling against youtubes never ending ways of disrupting...
but there is already add ons , apps ext, out there, ('video download helper' for free, or $30 ish for a life time license)... which is what dishita is planning on doing for a fee of $30 per year...
Dishita, bro ... i urge you .. RE THINK ...
your neiche/SPECIALITY, was being 'YOUTUBES EASIEST WAY OF DOWNLOADING 1080P OR HIGHER, AND/OR EASY CONVERSION TO MP3 FOR MUSIC VIDEOS'... your green button was the best, (i used both YOUR EXTENSION and VideoDownload Helper for other sites) but if it was a YOUTUBE video ... DISHITAS was the BEST ,,, nice, easy and fast.
youll make more money, from a free app, where people donate out of respect and appreciation... than youll make from forcing people to pay $30 per year ...
otherwise, they will all move to another free software ... re think it bro, i beg .. YOU MADE THE BEST EXTENSION EVER, sadly gone (for now) i hope it comes back x
I requested info on the new stand alone app, but never recieved a reply ...
and to be honest, £30 per year, or what ever it was going to be, seemed alot ...
I work on the principle of , if i can afford it ... I'll donate to every free software developer, £10 per year ...
if i had to pay all the developers, of all the free software i used, id probably have to pay out thousands of pounds per year @£30 per year
I'd need to get a new job , or give up my house, kids, misses , clothes, food , cars, etc ..
this subscription model is broken ... dont trust it ... yes there are some channels and software developers who can use it, and get away with it for now .... BUT it only works for developers or users, if everyone can afford to pay for everything they use ... sadly, not everyone can .. so those who cant, rely on those who can .. and priorites , etc Hence, where the put it out for free, and let those who can afford to pay ... pay, and subsidise those who cant afford to pay.
its like , imagine having to pay 10p, for every song you listened to ... no one would listen to music ... but the fact is advertisers on youtube, pay the artists, and the artists put it out for free ...
lets not forget, all these apps do, is let us have the music of videos on our own hard drives, easily ... we can all still listen to them for free, on the sites we are downloading from, .
the winning model is trust and appreciation ...
dishitas app was one of very few which i had paid for, voluntarily before ... thats how powerful and appreciated it was ... i cant say id be willing to pay 'when forced to' ... especially when there is other fre software, albeit, inferior , out there , to do the same job ... rethink dishita .. youre pushing away people have supported and respected and admired your free software for many years ... trust me, we know you work hard, and we appreciate it xxx - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18723671, 15 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13470030, 16 days agoThis add on doesn't work at all. How can someone rate it with 5 stars when the download button is gone? It's even written in the support page of the add on. Look for yourself: www.yourvideofile.org/support.html I am a Pro user that paid for it and this green download button just disappeared.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18722233, 16 days agoDishita's express application really works well and the support is great. I was having difficulty with some downloads not playing properly, turns out it was a codec problem that Dishita showed me how to fix from within the application. If a download fails to play properly (no video, and only audio), try the download again but this time change the video codec (there's a drop-down) to vp09.xx (not vp9). I didn't realize it, but you can change the codec from the "video codec" drop-down. It's very simple.
Consider this fix if you have the occasional video issue, usually for videos > 1080p, but also for oddball videos where you only get the audio in your download. If you don't have any issue after a download, then the default is best and you have no issue. Don't change the codec if you don't need to. If you do need to change the codec, remember the "vp9" codec (if it's in the dropdown) does NOT work, and only the vp09.xx codec does. vp09.xx was the one that worked for all my problem codecs. - Rated 1 out of 5by minerran, 16 days agoBrowser add on does not work anymore. It used to be great and I was one of those who paid for the pro version which also no longer works. I realize the breakage is not Dishita's fault, its youtube security changes nevertheless he still has this webpage up asking for donations for a browser app that no longer works. Yes he says that now he has a downloadable app that works but you must pay before trying it and who knows how long before youtube fixes the security holes he's exploiting. The webpage should be changed to indicate that the browser addon no longer works and as for the app, he should state that you purchase it at your own risk. Youtube could change security tomorrow and render your app unusable.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18720749, 17 days agoHow can it work for some and not for others? It tells me that it creates a link, but it would probably take forever to create one.
