I love this app!! I was able to download all my favorite 80's music videos and play them when I work, or to watch. I also use it to download videos I need to use for teaching.

Fantastic. Honestly, I never thought I'd see a YouTube Downloader that could keep pace. Thank you. But $10 as the default? I'd go with that if it was just techflation (tm) so it was $5 in case this was keeping up with the Klinker Apps. The other $5 forthcoming depending, when I find out what the hell's going on.
Also, it would be nice if vendors could offer something in between 'one time' and 'perpetual' (a.k.a. '4 years on the outside'). Like a 'Maybe sometime in the next few years I'll have another ask but maybe not'. I could go with that. For insurance against say, natural catastrophies.

The only issue is that it doesn't do 1080p, but that's YT's downloading restrictions rather than the app.

This guy is breaking his back to help a ton of people who don't bother to slip him a tiny tip($10), but they do bother to complain. be one of the honorable ones and show your support for a guy who gets no glory helping others download videos. Man up, do the right thing, don't put it off, do it now and realize you are a doer and not a hearer only.

I'm teaching and using short vids for my class. This tool works much more reliably than the earlier brands I have tried. Definitely worth the author's suggested shareware fee!

I installed this last week. LIked it so i installed it on a different machine. Suddenly today both machines popped up a tab for easy youtube video downloader without my wanting it. I'll just find another solution instead of this malware.

I love this extension, it is super easy to use and helps me save the videos I love! I've lost a lot of favorite videos over the years due to their creators taking them down, so this is nice to have!
It's also nice when the internet is down and you have a plethora of saved videos to watch!

This is a superb add-on and I have been very pleased with its function. I am grateful to the developer for his selfless work.

UPDATE 12/24 This is still the best downloader - HOWEVER - the plug in doesn't anymore with Youtube who keeps changing their data streams. Its like playing wack-a-mole. Currently, I'm using a beta version that is installed as an app. Hopefully in the future it can update this add on. The actual reason for coming back and updating is because the app stopped working on youtube. After reaching out for support, I quickly received a reply asking for info. Once he had that, I was given the info I needed to make one tweak and it all worked perfectly. This is a great app and hopefully the magic will be back in the add-on.

UPDATE 4/24 I'm still using this and it is THE BEST downloader for Youtube. Every time Youtube "breaks" the app, you can expect an update within a few days. Dont look any further. Download, install, and consider making a donation. I have in the past and will again to help support this app.

OLD REVIEW I've been using this for years. It almost always works, and when it doesn't an update is quickly released. Well worth paying for it!
