Yes it's a paid extension, but I think we're at an age where we all know that the good work is never just free. The dev here puts in effort to keep up with Youtube format changes and has a very reasonable donation pricing model. The dev also responded to my support request relatively quick.

5 stars cos it's totally worth being able to save 1080P MP4 video or 256kb MP3 music from any videos. Support this dev!

I am very satisfied with this extension. It's really all I want and need when working with YouTube videos. BTW: There is a very fast support, too.

Had no problem using the free version, upgraded for the 1080P & Mp3 ability, small price for what you get 24/7. updates are regular and any glitches acted upon. Responds fast to any support requests. I've made a few small donations in appreciation of the effort and resources required, I wish those bemoaning paying would step back and appreciate the not-for-profit efforts of Dishita. Good Job Man..... Update July 2020, fast response to my reactivation problem, had me up and running in no time... another well earned donation on its way....

The extension works as it should. Paying a bit for the Pro version is a reasonable proposal. I am quite satisfied with the product which on my view deserves 5 Stars

AN EXPERIENCE BEYOND DESCRIPTION...

AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC

I decided to take a chance and get the pro version of this as I used it free for a long time. I figured I would give it a month or so, see how it is and write this.

At first I was a bit frustrated when things didn't work as I expected them to, but as time went on, I noticed how much YouTube changes things around and makes it difficult for add-on's like this.

I have sent a number of support requests to the developer who has always gotten back to me and worked to fix the problem in a timely manner. They do a really good job and I have been impressed with how well they keep up with it.

There are times right after a YouTube update or change that things won't work properly, but in a reasonable amount of time, the dev has things back in order.

Thanks for doing a good job Dishita. It was worth upgrading.

I am extremely impressed with this app, it works very well. Yes, you do need to donate to open all the functions, but there are workarounds if you can't pony up some dough for someone that put together such a great add-on.

This add-on is perfect, and works great 99.8% of the time. The other 0.2% is when Youtube is changing their coding and it can take several days for the add-on writer (dishita) to update his code to match.
THERE IS SO MUCH B.S. WRITTEN ABOUT THIS ADD-ON. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

FREE users - add it on and you can download medium mp4's and most 720 mp4's.

PAID users - You can download all 720's and any 1080's if they are there. It's these DL's that make use of his server, and he has to pay for that himself. That's why we donate.
ANYONE who is having trouble can email him directly and he responds quickly ALWAYS. Enjoy!
