Use to work and loved it when it did but now I get a message "Pls Wait, this might take a while" and never even start the download. I donated the requested $10 so I'm very disappointed. Cannot find any help on the web. Update: Added Incognito to try to troubleshoot this issue and add-on now works even for MP4 but the web page still shows the "Pls Wait" message on the button. This no longer works. It has worked in the past. I now only get 0 byte downloads and no video gets downloaded and of course cannot be played. No response when I asked for help or if there is anything I needed to do to make this work.

This is by far the best and easiest to use YouTube downloader I've ever used. The free version works great and for a small donation you get even more formats. I recommend this one to everyone I know.

Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express… I have answered the review, by just typing the name of the program. Yes, it’s that simple. Seldom do programs live up to their word-for-word names, however, this one does.

Easy… very easy. A single button is placed within your Youtube screen, giving you several options on how you would like to download the file. As a video, with varying quality options, & as an audio, again with varying quality options. Just like that, you can build your library of favourite Youtube videos, to use offline or as you would like. Easy!

There isn’t much to dislike about this add-on. Downloads usually begin within 15 seconds – the small wait time is due to some back-end conversions, due to Youtube having the audio & video streams separate. You can have several pages open & can begin downloading one after the other. Youtube will often change their back-end scripting, which can affect the ability to download using the button, essentially breaking the add-on. However, The programmer is usually fairly quick to creating a fix within a few days.

I also can’t flaw the programmer, as they are prompt when reporting any bugs or issues & are very helpful. I will continue using this program & would highly recommend it. It was money well spent.

Most of the time this extension works flawlessly. Every now and then it may have a bug, but it doesn't take long for it to be fixed.

There is nothing to dislike. It is so simple to use, if you cannot work it out you should not be using computers.

Absolutely. I use this addon to download many videos from the channels I follow on YouTube. In the age of internet censorship having the ability to backup web content is vital. You cannot trust social media corporations to do it for you.

Yes, I have been using it for the last 6 months as a free service and just today I started to donate. You should really think about how much time people spend on making these addons and consider donating.

If you constantly use free services and never donate, go to work tomorrow and tell your boss not to bother paying you.

So far so good. I upgraded to support the service because I'm so sick of all the other download services that don't work. This one seems to work quite well. Nicely done!

This extension is great. It lets me grab YouTube videos of instructional or tutorial videos that I would like to watch many times without having to be online when I want to watch them. The interface is also easy to use since it doesn't require me to change a bunch of settings every time I want to get a video or audio from a YouTube video.

It appears like so many others that it has stopped working I just paid a donation to him, but it won't download anything, I get a message PLS WAIT This can take some time... I'm still waiting, I think perhaps if you are looking at a youtube downloader look elsewhere what was once a great downloader, is now just nothing, its only in the last few days that this has been a problem

I have used this add-on with Firefox Developer Edition for more than two years and it has not disappointed me because it works as expected.
In addition its easy to use and provides options of choosing from different download file sizes.
I really find it useful and will continue to use it.
