a) it works and b) great support - spend the time, spend a few $ and support this app. Hard to find good people who support such a great product.

This product is very easy to use and the support is second-to-none. I'm very impressed at the way I can access 1080p videos from YouTube.

Easy YouTube Video Downloader Express USED to do what it says it's supposed to do...

BUT

They started demanding a Premium membership for just about anything beyond the most basic videos.

I'm not interested in giving them my money, so I REMOVED it.

One of my favorite Firefox Addons. Works reliably and updates are made when necessary. When I needed help, the developer was very prompt in answering my questions. Highly recommended!

Great extension. This is one of those add-ons that you forget how much you use it when you don't have it anymore. And it's one of the many reasons I'm back to Firefox full time. Thank you Dishita for keeping it up to date whenever YouTube inserts their foolery.

Update: 3 years later, the add-on is going strong and it has become pretty much a necessity. I always feel it whenever I don't have access. To top it off, the author is very generous with support as well.

Went Pro, really like ease and simplicity. When I had a problem, probably of my own making, I got a help response within hours of sending an email.

Very limited now that they want people to upgrade. I thought it would be worth upgrading in order to be able to convert MP4 videos to MP3 audio, but the upgrade page is broken and does not allow you to pay! I'm still giving it three stars even though it is self limiting.....

Rubbish asks for paid service as soon as you try to dl anything

Fantastic add on really pleased with it, it was good enough for me to donate as decent free software takes time to develop and I think it helps o provide incentive to continue development, we should all appreciate the usefulness these add ons give us all, thanks for all your work. Mike,

Really useful for downloading videos of my favourite Youtubers, just wish that it would allow me to download in 720 when I want to, not have to use another application.
