Who wants to download 480p videos in 2024 ? This is now a USELESS extension and not fit for purpose. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14880303, a year agoI'm going to wait until July 1st to see if the dev adds back the 720p, if he keeps it locked behind a paywall I'm deleting this addon, there are plenty of free yt dl websites that allow you to copy paste & download the yt link, something Ive been doing for the past few days

- Rated 1 out of 5by Seldon73, a year agoHas become a 'freemium' addon, removing features by inches. Anything better than 360p is now behind the paywall. True, Youtube now separates the video and audio files, which is annoying, but plenty of still-free options are capable of smushing them back together. I'm switching back to yt-dlp. EYtV Downloader was once wonderfully convenient, but now it's nearly useless without a 'Pro' account.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Mason Sparky, a year agoEasy Youtube Video Downloader works perfectly for me to archive videos. The UI is clean and gets the job done with few clicks. Dishita quickly provides updates when youtube changes its back end.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Big Baz, a year agoAbsolute garbage, you can no longer download in even 720p, as even 720p has now been put behind a paywall. This addon is no longer functional as an addon. Its dog shit now.
There's plenty of free downloaders you can install to a pc that beat this greedy addon hands down, like 4k video downloader.
GREED GREED GREED there's no other reason for it. - Rated 2 out of 5by mudplayerx, a year agoWorthless for anything but downloading iffy quality songs from Youtube. All of the non-paid resolutions available are so low that the video files look horrible and pixelated.
- Rated 1 out of 5by xilorf, a year agoit used to just make you buy it to download 1080p, now it makes you buy it to download 720p, i'm sure they'll add a time limit to how long the videos can be. getting greedy don't use this

- Rated 5 out of 5by Bartman, a year agoThis is a fantastic tool for downloading and saving video for offline viewing.
However, YouTube's constant changes will sometimes inhabit the extension from working correctly. Today is one of those days. 720p download is not showing up in the download selection for some reason.
YouTube also recently made a big change to their layout on selected users by moving the suggested videos under the video player instead having it on the right side. The video description got moved to the right side of the video player too and this extension did not load in the new layout.
Hopefully, the developer is able to chance upon the new layout and come up with a fix. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18472491, a year agoI could;nt konnekt with the Add on but the support was very helpfull und kindly. Thank u very much
