- Rated 5 out of 5by Bill, 7 years agoI was using VideoDownload Helper, but the UI keeps changing and it fails to work reliably with YouTube. This app, Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express, works very well. I like it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14034523, 7 years agoThis app is a lifesaver. So simple to use while also having plenty of customization options for each download. I have been using the app for years & it has always been reliable & seamlessly integrated. Anytime I install Firefox, I immediately install Easy Youtube Video Downloader/Downloader Express as soon as it's finished. Many thanks to the developer.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13546604, 7 years agoTo my mind this is the BEST downloader for Youtube videos. I had problems locating the icon to download the videos because it wasn't in the browser toolbar where these things often are.
After I'd opened my eyes it was obvious as there is a nice bid 'Download' button in the Youtube window itself.
Easy to use and works every time - I've bought a coffee to support. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 6567236, 7 years agoEasily downloads mostly everything. With the latest fix it´s even better, so I recommend it for daily use and even for high quality videos
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14027870, 7 years agoThis is a great add-on to have! I would give it a 5-star except there are several formats not available on the free version that are commonly used. It would be great to have something like this for other video platforms, like vimeo, etc.

I do. I use this. It's great. Check it out. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13772272, 7 years agoWe can't download 720p files, even if they were only upload fifteen hours ago. We get the message:
Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users. Read more at - https://videodroid.org/pro_upgrade.html. FREE users can download all formats in CACHE where some PRO users fetched the video/audio in past 24 hours, to test the feature you can try downloading popular videos. - Rated 5 out of 5by Richard Mahony, 7 years agoI've been using this for years. Excellent app that was even better in the first iterations because one had the option of saving one's download history.
The option of saving one's download history is invaluable. Yes, even for those who are 100% concerned about privacy and security as I am.
The option of saving one's download history is invaluable even for those, arguably especially for those, who download videos and/or images, including erotica or porn.
Of course, if you're downloading video or images that are illegal in your jurisdiction, then you will be super obsessed with covering your tracks, or trying to. I say 'trying to' because the authorities will find you eventually, charge you and prosecute you. You will be convicted and sent to prison for a long time. So the solution is not to download illegal images, not to worry about your download history! - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14026235, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Ssurgul, 7 years agoI just donated again for this add-on, it really is that useful. With the donation, you get the ability to download the 1080P videos when possible. It's fast, reliable, and a wonderful way to ensure that a particularly poignant or humorous video can be saved for later, off-line viewing. A definite must every time I build a new system for my Firefox.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13944767, 7 years agoSo far it's been the easiest to use compared to the other download extensions I've added to FF browser. Plus it seems to catch more media types than the others have. Thanks!
