There is nothing that compares to Youtube Video Downloader. It the "TOP" browser extension of its kind. Simplicity and ease of use make it a pleasure to use. I "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" this extension.

2023 update:
After donating for the premium feature, now the developer removed the functionality and ask for more donation. Dissapointed with this approach. If you need more money to support your work, requesting non-mandatory donation would be better approach. you might get more money by doing that way as I'm not going to pay more with this approach.

Strangely enough none of the website hosted services were working, not even some other popular extensions which just created shortcut to these websites.

I have had past problems like this that usually meant searching for other websites. This time only this extension did the job.

But this extension worked for some url links that are not recognisable. That's why I gave 5 star rating for now, because it works, is quick and intuitive no fuss. Apparently 720 is only for pro if the video was not already cached in the last 24 hours? What does that mean?

I paid for the upgrade and it works great!

Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p! IDIOTIC!

Run's great on my computer. Very fast and easy to use. Some extension might even get it superb. Worth to try I think.

It's useless only allows 360p downloads and no mp3 and no HQ downloads! ..

Pro version works fast. Upgrading was definitely worth it, and I hope it helps the developer to keep on improving this great add-on.

I don't have a use for this very often, but when I do I'm glad it's here and was happy do donate towards it.

If there are any changes to YouTube the Developer is straight on the case and gets things back up and running as soon as possible.

Had some intial issues but contacted Deepesh and he was brilliant in providing the necessary advice and guidance. Great piece of software that works well and is pretty fast. Worth every cent fro the pro version. Just a short piece of advice - if you cannot get it to work please contact Deepesh before leaving negative feedback as I am sure he will be helpful. Negative feedback will only discourage him from further development of this software which would be a real pitty.

I'm so relieved that someone figured out how to get around the new layout. I need to be able to download videos & watch later offline. This is super easy, click the button & pick which type of file you want. Pay what you want to get the PRO version. It is worth it. We need extensions like this to keep going. Donate, its the right thing to do.
