The creator of this extension is a very hard-working and dedicated person; he's kept it up for a long time despite YouTube constantly seeking ways of disabling it. Easy to use and generally reliable, though sometimes YouTube does catch up--briefly, never for long. I use it in conjunction with a standalone app that does some of what this doesn't, but the reverse is also true. Highly recommended.

I was affected by one of the windows updates... my downloader would not work for about 1 year... I decided to to re install the down loader and go pro... so I donated a very expensive cup of coffee... 30$ in US funds that's like 10,000,000 Canadian any way even after donating... I did not receive a receipt... So I emailed and emailed still not too helpful the suggestions that came back were tried but all i was able to see was MP4 down loads all across the page... finally Nov. 16 2025 for what ever reason - I went back to the down loader in YouTube and there it was MP3 in two qualities... 128 and 256 Wow.. AND IT WAS WORKING.. so I finally was a happy person... I emailed back and thanked them but, I wish that they were a little more personable... thanks anyways... Joe

In short, easy to add to FireFox, VERY easy to use. Multiple resolutions to choose from. Love it.

Update (2026-02-25): I'm happy the developer responded to my review today. Yes, it works and I have many options - different resolutions and between video and audio. The add-on works flawlessly and I already downloaded some music videos. Again, thanks for fixing the bugs!
