The only reason anyone downloads this app has been extracted from the functionality, and locked behind a paywall where it was previously accessible.

It hasn't been able to find MP4s for several weeks now - there's just an error message there - even though it's supposedly up to date, and I see no other video format choices. There is a link to report bugs but that seems to work only for paid users, which I'm not. One other thing - the images to the right of this box are way out of date - the interface hasn't looked like that in a long time. Since it's useless to me I've disabled it; I'll try re-enabling it in a few weeks but if it's still useless I'll remove it.

It never works for me, there is always a limitation or a note or an explanation of how something doesn't work, then it leads you to download other things externally to firefox of dubious origins.
I just want an extension to click, install and use.
This extension doesn't work like that, also they ask money.

Quick and easy. My favorite downloader. Well it seems the pro access is revoked without rhyme or reason and you are unable to download until you pay up again. Might be a month, might be a year, but you will have your purchase deemed no longer valid because the creator wants more money. Its one thing to ask for a donation but when you sell a service, even if you did a piss poor job of planning expenses, it is unethical and no different than stealing to restrict a paid account and demand more money. the 1080 had sound issues most of the time anyway. Going to use a website or other addon for my download needs. I don't support crooks.

I installed this last week. LIked it so i installed it on a different machine. Suddenly today both machines popped up a tab for easy youtube video downloader without my wanting it. I'll just find another solution instead of this malware.

as of 13/5/20 it doesn't work , gets blocked by you tube immediately

Edit 2024: Something changed and this no longer works as it used to. Used to be able to download 720p vids, now it is only 360p options. No longer doing what I need, so might have to look elsewhere.

I understand that YouTube changing formatting has thrown a wrench in all these downloaders, but maybe mention that you need to pay for the pro version if you want to use basically any of the features of your Add-on, yeah? Otherwise, you're being dishonest. I found another solution, and I won't be back - although I might have paid if you were up front about it.

Has worked on and off, but totally broken now, Says"Pls wait,...", but can't find the download anywhere. I have other free downloaders that still do the job - even 720P. Wasted time.

No idea what it is doing. Just displays "Please wait ...".
Needs a progress meter/bar or any type of feedback would be nice.
