Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users. Catch you by offering you something free --> an extremely handicapped and crippled version that works sporadically and the entirety range of download options are all disabled, except for the worst download option.

The worst download option is there so that once you on are on it, a pop up is triggered with them telling you about their PREMIUM plan and how the PREMIUM victims will get the FULL RANGE of their capabilities.

Other potential users, please don't fall for bait and switch scams.

Trash, doesnt really work! Cost money if you want to download HD, LOL! Just use any site that does the job, like y2mate.com/en3 or any other. Its sad to see these addons for the biggest browers getting useless because of greedy companies. Oh well.. we just have to find other ways. And really.. these sites that download the vidoes for you is really easier. As I Said: Try y2mate.com/en3.

Advertises "WORKS WITH NEW YOUTUBE LAYOUT Only one with 1080p Full-HD and 256kbps MP3 Direct Links." Well, it does not. As soon as you download with it, you are informed that it only works with the old layout and that it specifically cannot provide 1080p video or mp3 downloads... unless you purchase a Pro application from them. I'm all for buying things from hard-working developers, but *this* extension literally does not do what it says. It's simply an advertisement you install in your browser.

No answer from support. Paid to have better service without any change.

Misleading description - MP3 not work with free version.

Useless, has only one link for youtube video, and no audio links. Commercial, advertising. Needs 3rd party server. Better is youtube-downloader-lite which has direct links to audio only, video only, video, without 3rd party server. Can't belive this is recommended extension.
