- Rated 3 out of 5by Peter Lyons Kehl, 3 years agoWorks as described: It enables text selection and right-click context menu.
However, some websites provide their own context menu and it may be beneficial. It would help to have a toggle/configuration checkbox here to enable/disable context menu override. - Rated 3 out of 5by Dikower, 4 years agoIt works great on the site, I needed to highlight non-selectable text. But it breaks copying complex objects in editors like miro, canva and figma. And also JQuery is not defined problem appears on every site :)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Darxide, 4 years agoWorks, but breaks a lot of sites. For example, it completely disables the ability to copy anything from any Google Docs including Google Sheets. Ctrl+C doesn't work, right click and copy doesn't work, picking copy from the edit menu doesn't work. Entirely broken.
This addon takes the wrong approach to fix text selection. I'll be hunting for a different addon that doesn't break so many sites. - Rated 3 out of 5by pinewheel, 5 years agoPositive: It also prevents pages, that allow select and copy, from adding their copyright claim to the text copied to the clipboard. Perfect. Example: https://www.chinahandys.net/redmi-k30-testbericht/
Negative: Unfortunately it disables the special right click menu of chronometer.com (on added foods) so the browser's menu shows up instead. Needs a blacklist.
