Enhancer for YouTube™ by Max RF

by XSS, 5 years agoI like this add-on, it has been working well for me. Although I mainly use it for the custom theme functionality and for removing annotations – for comprehensive ad-blocking I use µBlock Origin instead, so I cannot judge how well this add-on would do that.
As I cannot find another place or ticket system for a feature request, I'll do that here:
Please add an option to suppress Youtube's recent addition of the "Sign in to YouTube" dialog that has to be dismissed (by clicking "No thanks") every time the website is opened as a (non-logged-in) new user (meaning: no cookies present, like in private/incognito mode or with tracking protection). After the "Are you still there?" popup and the "Accept our new terms and gift us your soul" dialog, this "Sign in to YouTube" is now the third annoying dialog that interrupts or stalls video playback. Would be nice to have that option in Enhancer for YouTube™. :)

It'd be nice if we could specify a file name for video screenshots though. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 19246723, 6 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by islisis, 6 months agoA clear top 10 essential firefox extension :) It would be great if you could add an option to only show the miniplayer if the video is playing and not paused.
Also a mousewheel "scrub" (move through video) option would be great, e.g. when cursor is placed over timeline - Rated 1 out of 5by George, 6 months agoDegenerate developer has abandoned firefox even though it's objectively better than chrome for privacy reasons and other reasons. Developer thinks chrome is better. I wouldn't use it if someone paid me. Developer is scum.

posted 20 hours agoYeah, sure, no worries… I won’t blame you for the insults; you’re probably the kind of guy who sometimes tries to move faster than his reflection in the mirror, so... - Rated 1 out of 5by Callie, 6 months agoCan you please update this? Many features are missing/broken compared to the chrome version. I don't understand why the Firefox version has been neglected for 8+ months.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Adore33, 6 months agoFeatures of this add-on are not working correctly on Firefox.
- "Place controls within the video player"
- "Control the volume level with the mouse wheel when hovering over the video player with the mouse cursor"
Refreshing the page, clearing cookies/cache doesn't fix this.
Sometimes they randomly work as intended but in most cases they don't.
This add-on needs to be updated. - Rated 5 out of 5by lgiorp, 6 months ago
