- Rated 4 out of 5by Spricey, 11 days agoAlmost perfect for what I want (fixes rows, removes home page shorts) but needs an option to remove notification shorts from subscribed creators if possible as well (since YouTube wants to make their platform short-form video slop). Also doesn't slow down my computer which is another plus.
- Rated 4 out of 5by fando, 13 days agoreally cool you should probably add change overall page color but still really cool love it.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18125419, 14 days agoWorks great but it does not work while using a User Agent Switcher which is a bit sad since youtube is close to unusable without one to fake Chrome.
And using youtube without this extension is also awful nowadays with all those shorts taking up space. - Rated 4 out of 5by Yofi, 16 days agoIt worked fine for the first time, than disappered for some reason if reload the site.
Totally fine in private mode DKW.
PS. Tried disable others addon or install previous version. No use. - Rated 4 out of 5by Elucid, 19 days agoQuite enjoy this extension. I have noticed the button for rewinding the video to the left of the pause button remains visible for me even when the video bar hides, though it could be due to my many other youtube visual scripts. Also the older update had a much less noticeable opaque box behind the controls that I preferred; an option to adjust the opacity like with the cinema mode would be nice.

posted 19 days agoYou can install a previous version if it works better for you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/enhancer-for-youtube/versions/ - Rated 4 out of 5by kimmo, 20 days agoBeen using this for years, a must-have!
One recent bug - occasionally when using the playback speed wheel while a video is playing, then navigating to another open browser tab, the video will return to 1x speed and won't be able to be altered without refreshing the page. - Rated 4 out of 5by Azal, 22 days agoGood for everything, only issue is that on every device i've used the firefox version on the audio breaks above 8x speed
Developer response
posted 19 days agoThis is not an issue caused by the extension. The audio is most likely muted at the browser or site level. - Rated 4 out of 5by Takuma, 23 days agoEdit : There is another(4th) issue that I have that isn't tied to the latest update that I had to deal with for a while when youtube changed things. The extension is automatically turned off if the tab is refreshed or, for another example, if you restarted your computer and firefox automatically opens to where you left off. Usually I can get around this by going to youtube's homepage and then hitting back.
Edit 2: Issue 1 and 2 are fixed and Comments are working again, rumors seems to suggests that its tied to something youtube was doing. Issue 4 still exists but is not something I think would be worth nocking off 2 stars for so I am changing the score to 4 stars.Developer response
posted 19 days agoI can't reproduce your issues 1 and 2. You can reinstall an older version if it works better for you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/enhancer-for-youtube/versions/
For issue 3, check under Options > Appearance > Hide comments (maybe you enabled it by inadvertence)
For issue 4, not tested but it must be due to how Firefox loads extensions on restart. - Rated 4 out of 5by Anonymous3256324, 23 days agoMissing "Videos per row" feature!!
Please add the "Videos per row" option (under Appearance) to the Firefox version! It works great on Chrome and it’s the only thing missing here. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17396305, a month agoWhen chat is disabled video is not on full screen.
Developer response
posted 24 days agoBecause the feature is "Hide chat", not "Disable chat". It is hidden but not disabled, this is why the new fixed chat takes some space in full screen even if you don't see it. I'll see what I can do. - Rated 4 out of 5by Jorb, a month agoNice, but needs updating to fix the new subscription feed and restore the list view instead of the grid
- Rated 4 out of 5by DragoXphere, a month agoEver since the latest update, when trying to scroll on the speed adjuster icon the entire screen scrolls, when previous the screen would lock. This makes adjusting the speed, especially when scrolling down, very difficult

- Rated 4 out of 5by islisis, 7 months agoA clear top 10 essential firefox extension :) It would be great if you could add an option to only show the miniplayer if the video is playing and not paused.
Also a mousewheel "scrub" (move through video) option would be great, e.g. when cursor is placed over timeline - Rated 4 out of 5by CJ, 7 months ago

cant change how many videos to show
not sure why i set the hide shorts but not working blue play color on brave is not shown in firefox - Rated 4 out of 5by Gozer, 8 months agoLove everything about this Extension. It is very feature filled and works amazing. it really has change the experience I have had using YouTube and I Highly recommend this Extension to all YouTube Users.
My only only issue is that I would like to see it update to version 3.x like in Chrome. Firefox has version 2.x and fulfills almost all of my needs but i have become accustomed to the certain new features on version 3.x, such as the ability to adjust the number of videos or shorts that are show in each rows and some of the theming abilities.
The extension is worthy of 5 out of 5 stars but I gave it 4 stars because i would like to see the new version 3.x on Firefox instead of 2.x - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18716835, 8 months ago
